THE NAVE
Curation of space, light, and silence.
WELCOME
The art of slow,
intentional living.
For us, design is not only about creating beautiful rooms; it's about crafting a feeling. A sense of calm when you enter your home, a deep sense of belonging in every corner, and a quiet harmony that deepens over time.
We approach each project with slow intention, combining simplicity with rich, raw elegance, so that every space reflects the people who live and grow within.

How we work with you
However far along you are, and however much you'd like us to do, there's a way to work together. Some clients hand us the whole home from the first drawing to the final styled room; others bring us in for a single space, a colour scheme, or a considered second opinion before they commit. Neither is a lesser project. The same care goes into a well-resolved laundry as into a new build — because getting the small things right is exactly what makes a home feel whole.
And whichever way suits you, so does the arrangement. Take one of our fixed packages for a defined piece of work, or engage us simply by the hour for advice and guidance as you need it — no long commitment, no more than you ask for. We'll help you choose whichever makes most sense for the scale of what you're planning.
Below is what we can help with. Take the parts you need, and leave the rest with us.
-
Some homes don't need replacing — they need understanding. We look first at what's worth keeping: the light, the bones, the rooms that already work, then rethink everything around them so the house finally makes sense as a whole. The result isn't a home that looks new. It's one that feels as though it was always meant to be this way.
-
The best time to shape an interior is before the walls are set. We join early, working alongside your architect and builder to resolve proportion, flow, and light while they can still be moved a hundred millimetres either way. By the time construction begins, the interior and the architecture are a single idea — so nothing has to be corrected later.
-
For clients who would rather receive a finished home than manage one, we offer a fully turn-key service. We take the project from first concept to the final styled room — every trade, supplier, and decision handled on your behalf — and hand you the keys to a home that's complete on the day you arrive. Nothing left to source, nothing left to sort out.
-
The kitchen is where a home is lived hardest, so we design it to work as beautifully as it looks. We plan around how you actually cook, gather, and move — then resolve every cabinet, surface, and sightline down to the detail. Practical enough to disappear into daily life; considered enough that you feel it every time you walk in.
-
The bathroom is the most private room in the house, and the one that most rewards restraint. We design them as calm, well-proportioned spaces — the right materials, the right light, storage kept out of sight — so they feel less like a utility and more like somewhere to slow down. Every fixture and finish chosen to last, and to age well.
-
The laundry is the room that earns its keep quietly, so we design it to be a pleasure to use rather than a space to apologise for. We plan it around the real rhythm of washing, drying, sorting, and storing — with hard-wearing surfaces, generous bench space, and everything given its place — so the work of the house has somewhere considered to happen. Practical to the last detail, and calm enough that you won't mind spending time there.
-
Colour is the quietest decision that changes everything. We develop considered palettes for inside and out — schemes that hold together from the facade to the furthest corner, sit right in your particular light, and let the architecture speak. Whether you need a whole-home direction or a single room resolved, we get the tones right the first time.
-
Soft furnishings are where a room softens into a home. We select and make the layers that bring warmth and comfort — upholstery, cushions, throws, bed linens, and rugs — as one considered scheme rather than a collection of afterthoughts. Chosen for how they feel underfoot and in hand, not only how they photograph.
-
Bespoke joinery is what separates a fitted home from a furnished one. We design cabinetry, shelving, wardrobes, and built-ins tailored to your rooms and the way you live — reclaiming the space off-the-shelf pieces waste, and giving everything a place to belong. Drawn to the millimetre, made by hand, built to outlast trends.
-
When the right piece doesn't exist, we make it. For rooms with particular proportions, or clients who want something no one else will have, we design custom furniture and commission it with makers we trust. Each piece is created for its place — the right scale, material, and presence — and made to be kept for a lifetime.
-
Windows do more than let in light — they frame it, soften it, and hold privacy without shutting the world out. We specify curtains, blinds, and sheers as part of the whole scheme: the right weight of fabric, the right fall, the right control over how each room meets the day. Detailing most people feel without ever quite noticing.
-
Presentation is the difference between a house that sells and one that sells well. Before you list, we advise on the considered, cost-effective changes that lift a home in a buyer's eyes — styling, colour, small fixes, and the pieces worth bringing in — so it shows at its very best. Practical guidance, tuned to your market, focused on return.
Let's create something beautifully lasting together.
